An Easier Way to Promote Your Events Online

Anyone that’s ever tried to promote an event online knows the pains involved. There are dozens, if not hundreds, of local event calendars that could potentially bring more exposure to your event.

With each calendar comes a different interface, a different set of requirements, different quirks and idiosyncrasies, and another username and password for you to have to remember.

Working with clients who host a large number of events, we’ve seen the pains of this issue first-hand. We have some non-profit clients that hire full-time interns who’s only job is to submit event listings to event calendars!

For calendar publishers, it can also be quite difficult to get anyone to list an event in your calendar for the same reasons. Unless you can demonstrate a large amount of traffic, it’s hard to get someone to take the time to list with you; but how do you generate the traffic without any listings to draw people to your site in the first place?

That’s why we created Event Incite.

With Event Incite, the goal was to ease the burden on both event promoters and calendar publishers. For promoters, you can list your event once and have it automatically syndicated to a number of online event calendars. For publishers, you can provide a better experience for your users, pull from our existing database of event listings, and generate some additional revenue for your publication.

Currently, we’re working on features that will allow promoters to sponsor event listings on both EventIncite.com and across our network of publishers.

We’d love for you to check out the service and let us know what you think. Even better, we’d love for you to share the link with anyone you think could benefit from using the service. And if you’re an event promoter or organizer, you can really help by encouraging the publications where you submit your events to sign up and pull their event listings from Event Incite to make your life easier.

Be sure to sign up for Event Incite or follow us on Facebook or Twitter to stay up to date with the latest news and information!
